       About Me

My name is Thea.  I was born in Telavi, Georgia on March 4, 1979 I graduated Telavi State University, (2001). I am married and have three sons: Temuri (22),  Nika(13)  and Giga (8) I’m an artist, self-trained embroiderer and felt-maker. I have been embroidering since I was 5 years old.  My area of activity is a traditional Georgian and modern embroidery art, also I work on heraldic topics  (State, Kings and Noble coat-of-arms) and make impressive silk embroidered compositions. I do not follow any common embroidery or stitching pattern. I follow my self-imaginary embroidery technique and create it afterward. All these works are  made by my fantasy and materials used are handmade felt, silk, cotton, golden and silver threads.
